I’m magazine obsessed. Honestly, if I won the lottery, one of my special perks would be subscriptions to magazines.  When I’m feeling under the weather I treat myself to a magazine (it’s a cheap pick me up).  It doesn’t matter what the subject: beauty, health, computers, photography — whatever!  Nothing better than seeing your new issue in the mailbox!  I could go on and on, but here are my new favorites right now:

• Fast Company: It has great tech and business news, makes you feel like you can be an innovator. You can see what is on the cutting edge, but it isn’t pretentious. Also, each month they pick a “theme” and then give a ton of articles and links to get you started.  The past few months they have covered food (restaurants, food blogs, etc.) and the environment (Al Gore movie review, green business, and enviro blogs.)
• Paste: Paste has all sorts of music reviews, emerging bands, and digital music news. For me, it is all about the sample CD they include — it is completely my music and I’ve discovered new favorite artists.
• Blueprint:  It’s the new Martha Stewart mag, but it includes more than decorating it also has fashion, entertaining, etc. Way more accessible to me than Living Magazine. The premiere issue has a great article about how to start a collection. I really want to start collecting something, but I don’t know what, so I’m studying.
